Friends of Abbeyleix Bog Project

Whether you are a regular visitor or admiring our work from afar, we value you! Our Friends donation programme is an opportunity to contribute to ongoing conservation and management of Abbeyleix Bog.

In addition to knowing that you provide us with critical funding and support, we offer all of our Friends:

ABBEYLEIX BOG WALK

An annual guided walk at Abbeyleix Bog for you and your guests: learn about the bog's history, ecology and biodiversity and management

ABBEYLEIX ESTATE TOUR

A guided visit for you and your guests to Abbeyleix Estate, our neighbour and home to historic woodlands and gardens

3

ANNUAL UPDATE

A yearly update on the bog and its habitats, wildlife and management

Annual donation of €30

Terms & Conditions

All Friend donation benefits are valid through the end of this calendar year. We strive to offer events in the Spring and Autumn so that you will be able to avail of at least one walk depending on when you join us in the year.

Where necessary, Abbeyleix Bog Project will substitute a Friends benefit for another benefit with equivalent intention.

Abbeyleix Bog Project will use the details you provide only to contact you in relation to the Friends programme, its benefits and annual renewals.

For existing Friends, we will contact you each year to offer you the opportunity to auto-renew your annual donation.

A donation does not grant the donor any rights to Abbeyleix Bog Project intellectual property, including use of the Abbeyleix Bog Project logo.

Corporate donors are welcome but guests are limited to five (5) persons at in-person events.

Attendance limits may mean that the number of family or friends for individual donors may also need to be limited, on an event-specific basis.

You may opt out by responding to any email from us but please note that this will not result in a refund.

All donations are final.

All donations benefit Abbeyleix Bog Project, a not for profit incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in Ireland, and are used by Abbeyleix Bog Project to further its mission.
